‘Klein’s Korner’ Tribute

This night is a tribute to a woman who has changed lives of students and teachers alike; a woman of great talent and humor. One of the teachers at Archbishop MacDonald, Mrs. Klein, has become very sick with cancer, so the Archbishop MacDonald students will be hosting a ‘night of the arts’ to celebrate her life. The proceeds of this event will be going to the creation of ‘Klein’s Korner’ in the MAC library. As Mrs. Klein brought life to MAC we are bringing life to the library with a tribute to her. This evening is not just to celebrate a woman who has impacted the lives of those she has met, but also to create an awareness. It is important to see how cancer affects so many people in the community; whether it is directly or indirectly there is an impact. Through this evening we are able to give to the Archbishop MacDonald community by adding an area inspired by a great woman to their library. The students are also helping others who are affected by cancer by donating to the Cross Cancer Foundation through the bake sale. It is important to remember that we cannot be sad about a single life moment, but to know we can do our part to help others in the same situation and make it that little bit easier for them too.
